While studying at Marshall University, his talent quickly stood out—earning him a spot as a college radio DJ and a reputation as the go-to entertainer for unforgettable house parties.

After college, Chris turned his passion into a full-time career, creating Sound Wave Entertainment to serve couples and clients across Northern Virginia and beyond. With years of experience, he’s mastered the art of reading the crowd, setting the tone, and keeping guests engaged from the first song to the last dance.

What began as a college passion at American University quickly grew into a thriving career with residencies at some of DC’s most notable nightlife venues, including Insomnia, Fur Night Club, and 1223.

Known for his effortless ability to blend genres and eras, Daniel crafts seamless musical experiences that feel both timeless and fresh. His signature style combines creative mashups, deep musical knowledge, and an intuitive sense for reading the room—ensuring every moment flows perfectly from first dance to final song.

Today, Daniel specializes in weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations, bringing professionalism, warmth, and energy to every performance. Whether it’s an intimate gathering or a grand ballroom, his goal is always the same: to create a soundtrack that people remember long after the night ends. 

Chris Cobb is a true music connoisseur with a passion for every style, from Sinatra to Lady Gaga. He bought his first set of turntables in high school back in the late ’80s, and ever since, he has been entertaining crowds at wedding receptions, corporate events, and private parties.

Chris is the perfect fit for any event, bringing versatility and experience in blending genres to match your unique tastes. A highlight of his career was opening for the legendary vocalist Regina Belle at the Fredericksburg, Virginia Expo and Convention Center.
